On Wednesday 28th October, founding members and invited guests will gather at The Rosewood London for the launch of our first Sphere. It is the first time the community comes together in person, and the start of something designed to last well beyond the evening.
Why this gathering matters
The Leadersphere was built on a simple belief: the support leaders need comes from connections that are formed in the right context, and that endure and deepen over time. A large, strong network can help, but we often forget where and when we met someone. The connection was made, but never furthered.
Instead of a disparate, disconnected network, what leaders need is a trusted group of cross-functional peers: people they trust implicitly with candid insight and honest questions, without fear of judgement.
The London Sphere launch is where that group begins to form. It is the first time the people who will shape The Leadersphere will be in the same room: senior leaders from across every function of the business, brought together by thoughtful invitation rather than ad-hoc sign-up.
London is our first UK Sphere, and the evening sets the tone for every Sphere that follows. The standards, the format and the culture of a Sphere are shaped by its founding cohort, which makes this first gathering more than a launch. It is the foundation.
What to expect
The evening is designed to feel unlike a typical networking event.
- Plenty of time for candid, private conversation. The evening is built around conversation, with space to talk properly and in confidence, one to one or in small groups. There is no commercial agenda, so conversations are free to go where they are most useful.
- An inspirational keynote from the world of sport. Before dinner, a keynote speaker from the highest levels of sport takes to the stage. Elite sport and the boardroom have more in common than they might first appear. Both are high-pressure environments where performance is judged in public, decisions are made in the moment, and results depend on the strength of the team around you. The session explores what top-tier sporting achievement can teach leaders about handling pressure, sustaining performance and making the call when it counts. After dessert, a brief overview of The Leadersphere follows.
- Considered company. The room has been curated. You will meet peers from other disciplines, many of whom will be navigating the same decisions as you from a different seat at the table.
- Off the record. What is said in the room stays in the room. You can be seen and heard without being on display.
- Fine dining and entertainment. The Rosewood London provides a setting that matches the calibre of the company, with food, drink and music to let the conversation unfold naturally.
- Your Sphere lead. You will meet the people who will facilitate your Sphere and help ensure that the right introductions are made.
Why you should be there
Connections that endure begin with a first conversation in the right setting. Joining this first evening means:
- Meeting your cohort first. The founding cohort will go on to become your closest circle of peers. This is where those relationships begin.
- Helping to shape what comes next. Founding members set the standards, the format and the culture of their Sphere. Your voice carries the most weight at the start.
- Experiencing the room before you commit to it. The best way to understand The Leadersphere is to stand in it.
What happens afterwards
The launch is the first conversation, not the last. Following the evening, the founding cohort continues to build on the connections they have made:
- Online conversation. Your Sphere lives on the platform, a personal peer board where every relationship starts, so the right person is always one message away. The Relationship Map shows the connections your peers already have and helps every introduction build on the one before it.
- Collaboration. Members work through shared challenges together, drawing on perspectives from across functions and industries.
- In-person meet-ups. Local meet-ups, Chatham House rooms and private dinners turn early introductions into trusted relationships, raised and shaped by members themselves. Twice a year, the Sphere gathers for flagship events.
- Development pathways. Members are supported in their careers through development pathways, including coaching, so that the relationships built here continue to support growth long after the room has emptied.

Start a conversation
If you are considering membership, the next step is a private conversation to understand your priorities and confirm whether The Leadersphere is the right fit. We are also glad to hear from executive assistants enquiring on behalf of a leader, and from partners with something relevant to bring.
